Effects of Ecological Water Conveyance on Soil Salinization in the Shiyang River Basin’s Terminal Lake—Qingtu Lake—Area

(1) Background: Recently, secondary soil salinization has frequently occurred in ecological water conveyance and irrigation areas. Therefore, monitoring the information on area analyzing change process of are great significance to both environmental improvement management. (2) Methods: This study takes Shiyang River’s terminal lake—Qingtu Lake—and its surroundings as research area. The index was extracted by remote sensing data methods, a comprehensive model (CSI) established. Firstly, spatial distribution regular salinization, since explored, trends were analyzed. Secondly, relationship between characteristics groundwater, changes land use types (3) Results: Kappa coefficient CSI measured reached 0.703, can accurately monitor information. From 2011 2020, non-salinized increased 2.1%, mild moderate decreased 5.7% 3.9%, respectively, severe 7.5%. lake showed decreasing trend, periphery an increasing trend.
